Checking status of all Instance using Toad

It is one of the daily routine tasks for DBA to check the status of their database such as server, Listener, Instances. The toad DBA module provides this facility through “Instance Manager” screen.
With this instance manager screen the DBA can see the status of their database server, listener and instance. If all is well, the Node, Listener and Database instance the status will show green correct check mark. If there is any problem the status will show ‘X’ not correct check mark.
With this screen you are also able to create INIT.ORA text file and also you can start and stop the database just by right clicking on the database.
