Changing Oracle Database Character Set to Arabic

After installing Oracle database 9i or higher, it is possible to change the character set of database. If you have access to My Oracle Support (formerly Metalink) check out document 1015554.4 (How to Configure Forms for Use with Arabic Characters).
SHUTDOWN IMMEDIATE;
STARTUP MOUNT;
ALTER SYSTEM ENABLE RESTRICTED SESSION;
ALTER SYSTEM SET JOB_QUEUE_PROCESSES=0;
ALTER SYSTEM SET AQ_TM_PROCESSES=0;
ALTER DATABASE OPEN;
ALTER DATABASE CHARACTER SET INTERNAL_USE AR8MSWIN1256;
SHUTDOWN IMMEDIATE;
STARTUP;
Note: To change the  NLS_LANG do not forget to modify windows registry  (HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SOFTWARE/ORACLE/<ORACLE_HOME>/NLS_LANG). Make sure change the CHARACTER SET wrong way will corrupt your database.
